The Venue Alexandria
An inner-city premium warehouse space with clean, industrial lines, 3 unique spaces, an accessible loading dock and crew parking, plus on-site car parking for up to 250 spaces, located in a commercial precinct.
Traditionally an events space, The Venue Alexandria is increasingly a location of choice for Film, TV, and media.
While there is a commercial kitchen onsite there is also the flexibility to bring your own caterers and food trucks. Plus, the entire venue can accommodate a full range of heavy vehicles and has a dedicated crew vehicle parking area easily accessed from The Main Venue, often used as the primary location. Apart from being a contained studio environment, the Main Venue is also easy to build in, and load into.
The Main Venue is 1,900 square metres with a 7-metre-high ceiling and 3.8-metre-high sliding doors for accessing the space. Other features include air-conditioning, no noise restrictions, polished concrete floors, spotless bathrooms, ample power (including 3-phase outlets), and a truss, which can be removed if required. There is also a green room and capacity for up to 1,000 people.
This unique, versatile space has recently been used for TVC’s ranging from cosmetics to insurance, two reality TV series, and automotive launches ranging from luxury cars to trucks and tanks.
The Foyer is 550 square metres with colour bond walls, a 5-metre-high ceiling and drive through access, high enough for coaches and easy access for bump in and out. Studio V is 350 square metres, ceiling height of 4.7 metres, acoustic carpet, and its own bathrooms. Running between the main studio and foyer there is a corridor (promenade) which remains open to the public but can be managed effectively depending on your production’s requirements. Forklifts and scissor lifts also available for rental.
