This ranch features an enormous flat red dirt desert plain area (claypan) with only one isolated cabin yet is conveniently located only 7.5 miles/12 kilometres north-west of the Silverton Township, near the regional town of Broken Hill in Far West NSW.

Belmont Station is located on a Crown Lands Western lands lease near Silverton about 40km from Broken Hill.
