Batemans Bay
Australia / Batemans Bay, New South Wales
Location ID: #10067
Batemans Bay is located at the mouth of the Clyde River and offers views both upriver, to the mountains, and seaward, to the island dotted horizon. It is the largest town on the coast south of Nowra, however it maintains its small town atmosphere and boasts some of the most spectacular and unspoiled coastline in New South Wales.
Lakes and other waterways offer peaceful bush walks and the company of many species of coastal frequenting birds.
Chains of beautiful beaches and National Parks lie to the north and south. There are long sandy strips with rolling surf and, only minutes away, rockpools, coves and quiet waters.
