Delta Electricity is an electricity generator operating in a national competitive electricity market. It owns and operates the Vales Point and Munmorah Power Stations (Central Coast) and the Mt Piper and Wallerawang Power Stations (near Lithgow). Requests to use power station site for film production will be assessed in accordance with the prevailing operational, maintenance and safety requirements of Delta Electricity. In making a request, firms should clearly state their filming requirements including pre-filming arrangements, catering etc. An estimate of the length of time on site is required as well as probable start and finish times for each day. Safety is of paramount importance and as a general rule filming from chimneys, cooling towers and electrical switchyards would not be allowed. Site induction will be required to familiarise firms with safety and emergency procedures.
