Location Authorities - NSW Office of the Children's Guardian (OCCG)

OCCG does not approve film maker's locations. However, legislation requires authorised employers to tell us about every instance of a child under 15 years of age being employed for entertainment, exhibition and still photography in NSW, including the location and how the employer will manage any risks associated with the location. Employers must apply for an Authority, pay a fee, and be approved by the OCCG before employing a child. The fees are prescribed by legislation.
