Filming location requests
The Commercial team within Legal, Department of Communities and Justice assists various agencies within the department, including Corrective Services and Courts and Tribunal Services, in managing filming location requests.

Filming and image requests
DCJ receives many requests to provide its dwellings for film, television, video, and photographic projects. Each request is considered on its merit and we actively support the Australian Film and Television industry in accommodating all reasonable requests and requirements.

For you to undertake filming at one of our properties we will require:
* evidence of Public Liability cover for minimum $10 million for any single claim
* a 'Letter of Agreement' – a legal document signed by both parties that sets out conditions for approval of filming proposal and realisation of final product.

Requests to film are subject to approval and fee payment prior to use.
A request to film on court premises will require an application to be submitted to [email protected].
Applications MUST be submitted a minimum of 21 business days prior to the requested date.
Filming requests have been considered for the following locations:
• Camden Local Court
• Deniliquin Local Court
• Gilgandra Local Court
• Junee Local Court
• Manila Local Court
• Richmond Local Court
