You can even go on a fossil fossicking tour and stay at real working fine wool merino sheep farm.
Burrinjuck Dam was built in the early 1900s as a water storage system for the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area. It is a popular attraction and offers cruises, watersports, fishing, camping and bushwalking. The surrounding Eucalypt forests boast an abundance of wildlife including kangaroos, echidnas and rosellas, some of which can be hand fed.
