Covering an area of 63,500 square kilometres, the Riverina Region offers an enormous diversity of landscape and opportunity. From the snow covered mountains of Tumbarumba, to the vineyards of Griffith, to the plains of Hay, the region boasts historic homesteads and woolsheds, country towns with their original characters, and vast rivers and waterways.Local government areas in the region include Carrathool, Coolamon, Cootamundra, Griffith, Gundagai, Hay, Junee, Murrumbidgee, Narrandera, Temora, Tumut, Tumbarumba and ... Wagga Wagga.Wagga Wagga is the largest inland city in NSW (population 57,000 approx.) with a good transport network linking it to Sydney and Melbourne and excellent air, rail and bus services. There's also the Charles Sturt University's School of Visual and Performing Arts which includes courses in Television Production and Design, and Acting, for the Screen and Stage, which can provide an actor and technical base from their students and staff for the right project! The city can provide a good deal of the infrastructure needed to support film and television production.
