Hunters Hill is a leafy sandstone peninsula at the confluence of the Lane Cove and Parramatta Rivers. The essential character of the area was formed in the mid-1800s. Development in the area is almost entirely residential. In 1978, Hunters Hill was declared a Conservation Area by the National Trust.
The Hunters Hill Council supports filming and photography in the local area and has hosted all manner of filming customers, ranging from small student films to large scale network productions.
