Fairfield is one of the most culturally diverse cities in Australia with more than half of all residents having been born overseas, mostly in non-English speaking countries. Fairfield City Council covers 27 suburbs including Fairfield and Cabramatta CBD, the industrial estate at Smithfield-Wetherill Park and the rural area of Horsley Park. It is also home to Fairfield City Farm, a real working farm with native and farm animals and the Fairfield City Museum and Gallery, home to a unique vintage village.
